It is the first release to feature new drummer Chris Raines, making Chris Day and Scottie Henry the only members of the band to have appeared on all albums released by Norma Jean.

Norma Jean have announced that the album will feature several guest spots, currently the only three confirmed guests are Page Hamilton of Helmet, Chino Moreno of the Deftones [ [http://bandsonfire.com/spip.php?article1891 Norma Jean - "The Anti Mother" Sessions - w/ Chino Moreno of Deftones] Retrieved on June 6, 2008] , and Cove Reber of Saosin [ [http://somethingpunk.com/interviews.php?iID=58 Norma Jean Interview at Somethingpunk.com w/ Cory Brandan] Retrieved on June 25, 2008] , they have also stated that, "We are not just doing "guest vocal" spots for them either... every band does that... we are going to write songs with them". A recently released video shows that Ross Robinson is again taking up producing duties, as he did for Norma Jean's previous album Redeemer.

It was also recently revealed on the Norma Jean youtube channel that Cory will be playing a lot of guitar on the album as well as playing a lot live in the new shows to come.
