The Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association is an ACHA Division II Southeast Region club hockey league in the east coast of the USA. Division II club hockey is a level just close to the level of ACHA Division I or NCAA Division III levels.

Format

The 10 teams in the MACHA-North play 9 conference games within the league to qualify for the league playoffs, with top 6 teams at the end of the regular season make the league playoffs. The 5 teams in the MACHA-South play 8 conference games within the league to qualify for the league playoffs, with top 4 teams at the end of the regular season make the league playoffs. League and non-conference games are taken into consideration to qualify for ACHA National Tournament. In 2011, it was announced that Seton Hall and The College of New Jersey would be leaving for the Great Northeast Collegiate Hockey Conference and Life will be leaving for Independent status for the 2011-2012 season, and the league will be adding Delaware.[1]
