The T. Rowe Price Asia Fund is a fund by T. Rowe price that invests in Asian countries, such as China, India, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and other countries. It is currently managed by Frances Dydasco and team.
History
It was founded in 1990, and was one of the first international funds to debut. In the first couple of years it was a weak performing portfolio, its (NAV) shifted between 2 and 5 dollars, and had a relatively high expense ratio. However, in the new millennium it is one of the best performing stock portfolios, and in 2007 it returned and astonishing 66% return. Its current objective is to invest in small and large companies throughout or located in Asia, and currently has over $4.4 Billion under management.
