List of Parliamentary constituencies in Tyne and Wear

The ceremonial county of Tyne and Wearis divided into 13 Parliamentary constituencies.They are all Borough constituencies.

The Boundary Commission for England has provisionally recommended that the county shouldin future be divided into 12 constituencies. The proposals and objections were subjected to public inquiry in June, 2005.Final proposals were produced on January 11, 2006, for implementation at the United Kingdom general election, 2009/10.
