Music Mountain Summer Chamber Music Festrival

Music Mountain Summer Chamber Music Festival, located in Falls Village, Connecticut, is America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival.

Music Mountain was founded in 1930 by the violinist Jacques Gordon, as the permanent home for the Gordon String Quartet.

Its Mission for all its 79 seasons has been the education and performance of the chamber music literature, concentrating on the string quartet.

Gordon Hall, with a normal capacity of 335, and 400 with additional seating, is one for the finest chamber music halls in the country.

In 2008 Music Mountain will present 26 concerts.
