Jackson Mullane


Jackson Mullane (born January 30, 1987) is an Australian actor known for his portrayal of Outlaw in the Gladiators (Australian TV series). Mullane is also a State Representative rugby union player.

Biography

Jackson grew up in Cronulla, New South Wales and attended De La Salle College before transferring to St. Joseph's College, Hunters Hill where he commenced his rugby career. He started in the 15c's where he was relegated to the bench by outstanding winger/model Tim "sexy pants" Bowen. This dissapointment turned Jackson into Archery, where he became the St Josephs premier archer, winning many titles. His nickname was "wolf", as he hunted bullseyes like a wolf hunting prey. But most called him "Sparrow" as his arrows soared freely like a bird and never missed. Jackson still does archery, though not competitively, and can be found loosing arrows before dawn at the RHAA (Robin Hood Archery Academy).On a side note, Tim Bowen is also the coolest guy ever invented by the big man himself.

In 2006 Jackson toured to Dubai with the under 19s Australian Team to compete in the world championships. This team was the first Australian team to ever win the world championships in this age group. In 2006 he also made his representative rugby debut for the NSW Waratahs scoring two tries against Saracens. In 2007 he played 4 games on the wing for the Perth Spirit and 2 games for the Sydney Fleet in the Australian Rugby Championship.

He is currently a 1st grade rugby player for the Southern Districts Rugby Club.

TV career

From 2008 he appeared as 'Outlaw' in Gladiators (Australian TV series).
