Riccardo Pittis

Riccardo Pittis (born December 18, 1968 in Milan, Italy) is a former Italian basketball player. A 2.03 m small forward, Pittis was an excellent all-around player.

He competed at the highest European level for almost two decades (1985-2005). Having been a regular member of the Italian national basketball team, Pittis won two Eurobasket silver medals in 1991 and 1997.

Pittis spent his whole career in two teams: Olimpia Milano and Benetton Treviso. With Olimpia he won the Euroleague twice in 1987 and 1988 as well as the Korac Cup in 1993. With Benetton he lifted the Saporta Cup trophy in 1999. He led the Euroleague in steals 4 times (1992, 1994, 1996, 2003).
