Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC)

The nonprofit [http://www.clicweb.org Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC)] is an innovative, collaborative-focused organization that empowers libraries and library staff to better serve their patrons.CLiC will achieve this mission by:

* supporting cost effective resource sharing initiatives, such as the Colorado Library Courier, that improve access to materials statewide.
* providing continuing education and consulting to improve services in libraries.
* developing cooperative purchasing opportunities for libraries to increase access to library resources.
* supporting activities that promote new ideas and information sharing within the library community.

Core Values

We value the success of libraries.

1. CLiC focuses organizational activities and actions on member needs and organizational goals that support our mission.
2. We provide equal access to all our services for all members according to CLiC's mission and goals.
3. CLiC demonstrates a cooperative core value by collaborating and communicating with member libraries and other organizations.
4. CLiC values financial responsibility by practicing good money management strategies ensuring a balance between growing needs and security.
5. We actively seek to maintain an awareness of the external variables that influence the organization in order to position ourselves to realistically meet our members' needs.
6. We strive to demonstrate good humor, open communications, expertise, and pro-action in our relationships with others.
