WYCC is a Public Broadcasting System television station in Chicago, Illinois. It is found on analog channel 20 and digital channel 21. It is based at Kennedy-King College. Its transmitter is atop the John Hancock Center, one of the tallest buildings in the United States. The Chicago area has 2 other PBS member stations, WTTW and WYIN, but according to the General Manager, WYCC differentiates itself by its focus on adult education and by obtaining only 13% of its programming from PBS.

The television station is funded and governed by guidelines provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Funding is also provided by member donations, collected throughout the year and through pledge drives.

It reaches 3.5 million homes in Chicago and 6 million homes in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin; and averages 750,000 viewers each television broadcast season.
