"Field Test" is one of six short films that make up "". The story and screenplay were both written by Jordan Goldberg, and it was directed by Hiroshi Morioka with Robert Kral who did the music [ [http://www.worldsfinestonline.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=127 The World's Finest ] ] . The film was produced by Bee Train, who had also done various animation shows such as "Noir", ".hack" and "Tsubasa Chronicle". The segment provides a look into Batman's arsenal. Actor Will Friedle previously played Terry McGinnis / Batman on "Batman Beyond," which this segment reuniting him with Kevin Conroy. Kevin Michael Richardson also voiced The Joker on "The Batman."

"Field Test" is MPAA Rated "PG-13".

Plot

Batman is provided a new piece of technology for his developing high-tech arsenal: an electromagnetic shield generator which can deflect gunfire. He tests this new device in another confrontation with Sal Maroni and the Russian, though a deflected shot hits and injures one of the henchman. Seeing that this could prove quite serious in the face of citizens, Batman returns the device and vows to put his own life on the line for justice, and no one else's.
