Features dancers, vocalists and guitarists direct from Spain in a mesmerizing display ranging from flamenco puro to innovative new works.In 1980 was celebrated the first edition of the festival with Jose Luis Ortiz Nuevo as the director and with a poster designed by Joaquín Sáenz. The giraldillo (the award)was winned by (Calixto Sanchez, the celebration had also several conferences and round tables.

The differents performances are usually represented at the principal theatres of the city of Seville like the Lope de Vega, Central and Maestranza.Also has used different places for the representations like the Alcázar of Seville and the Hotel Triana.
