Bryan R. Holloway is currently serving his second two-year term as a representative from the 91st District (Stokes, Rockingham Counties) in the North Carolina General Assembly. Rep. Holloway served as the Republican Freshman Leader in the House of Representatives in his first term.

Before going into politics, Holloway was a social studies teacher at West Stokes High School. In the 2004 Election, he defeated incumbent Rex Baker in the Republican primary. In the general election, Holloway beat Democratic candidate Robert W. Mitchell, also a social studies teacher at the same school.

Holloway is a Vice Chair of the Committee on Pensions and Retirement and also serves on Agriculture; Appropriations, Appropriations Subcommittee on Education; Commerce, Small Business, and Entrepreneurship; Education; and, Education Subcommittee on Universities.

Holloway is a graduate of Appalachian State University. He is a member of First Baptist Church in King, North Carolina and resides in King with his wife Misti and their dog Governor.
