Meedio is a company (based in the United States) that made a media center software (based on the freeware myHTPC) with the same name, and was acquired by Yahoo! in 2006. The new software is named Yahoo GoTV.

Enthusiasts continue to release plugins for that, now obsolete, old Meedio media center software on MeediOS web site.
