Pepito, the diminutive of Pepe in Spanish, may refer to:

*César Tovar, a Major League Baseball player, one of whose nicknames was "Pepito"

He subsequently has been adopted by Hispanics the world over as the purveyor of humor, uniting varying ethnic backgrounds within the Hispanic culture.

No one had ever seen an image of Pepito , yet each had a distinct image of him and felt he originated in their Latin homeland.
