Chris Bailey (born 5 July 1982 in Inverell, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for Harlequins RL of Super League. He plays as a five-eighth and can also lock the scrum. He is the younger brother former New South Wales and Australia representative Phil Bailey.

Bailey joined the Manly Sea Eagles on a 3 year deal from the 2009 season.[1][2]

Bailey has previously played for the Balmain Tigers. He made his NRL debut for the Newcastle Knights against Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium in round 10 of 2006.[3]

He was described by his Newcastle coach Brian Smith as an old-school five-eighth.[4]

He had been linked with a move to join his brother at European Super League side Wigan Warriors as a replacement for Trent Barrett.[5] but remained with the Knights until the end of the 2008 season.[6]

He has joined Super League club Harlequins RL on a three year deal from the 2011 season.
