Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa (Urdu: دوست محمد کھوسہ ) (born October 22, 1973) is a Pakistani politician affiliated with centre-right Pakistan Muslim League (N).[1] He was elected as the Chief Minister of Pakistan's most populous province, Punjab on 12 April 2008.[2] Dost Muhammad Khosa, is the son of former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa [3] He was born in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. He won the General Elections 2008 from Punjab Provincial Seat 244 Dera Ghazi Khan 5.

Education

Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa received his Primary Education from Aitchison College (Lahore),[4] Secondary Education from Government College (Lahore)[5] and did his Graduation degree from Punjab University (Lahore).[6]

Political career

In his political career, Sirdar Dost Khosa was first elected as MPA when his father vacated provincial seat after taking oath as Punjab Governor in August 1999. He had also served as UC Nazim of Churratta, D.G. Khan and later as Naib District Nazim D.G. Khan till contest of general election-2008.[7] Dost Muhammad Khosa was PML-N, DG Khan, district President for the last eight years and was arrested many times during this period on political grounds.He has charming personlity

Family

Dost Muhammad Khosa is the son of former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa.[8] He is the youngest of three brothers.[9]
