"Financial Chronicle" was published from 2 cities initially Hyderabad and Madras(Chennai).On May 26, it launched Bangalore edition and latest one is from Mumbai (Bombay) from June 20.
This paper's internet edition has launched midnight of 15-16th April,2008 which it claims "F.C." is the first paper whose internet edition preceded its print edition.
Format of the Paper
"Financial Chronicle" is broadsheet paper printed in white color newprint and not in salmon pink color newsprint .
Management
This paper is owned by Deccan Chronicle Holdings.Its flagship publication is "Deccan Chronicle" - an English daily widely circulated in A.P and second largest daily in Chennai .
The Editorial advisory board includes legendary Agricultural scientist Dr.M.S.Swaminathan,Mr.Nripendra Mishra, Mr.Subroto Bagchi, Mr.P.K.Iyer c and Mr.M.Damodharan is appointed as ombudsman of the paper. Mr.Shubhrangshu Roy is editor of the paper.
Associate Partner
The "FC" has tie up with "International Herald Tribune" and it publish a IHT section titled as World Business which contains four pages .
The other Indian financial papers has such association is "Mint"- a business daily published by HT Media Ltd with "Wall Street Journal" & " Business Standard" with London based daily "Financial Times".
