Steven Epstein (music producer)

Steven Epstein, an American producer of classical music received a B.Sc. in Music education from Hofstra University in 1973.

Over the years, Epstein has worked with such artists as Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, Plácido Domingo, Isaac Stern, Itzhak Perlman, Murray Perahia, Emanuel Ax, Bobby McFerrin, Punch Brothers the Vienna, Berlin and New York Philharmonic Orchestras, and also the Chicago, Cleveland, London, Conzertgebouw, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Los Angeles Symphony Orchestras. Epstein is currently the Senior Executive Producer of Sony Classical. He has won 3 Grammys for Classical Producer of the Year and 1 Grammy for Classical Album of the Year. He is also adjunct professor of Classical Music Recording at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
