Byron Mallott

Byron I. Mallott (born circa 1933 in Yakutat, Alaska) is an Alaskan politician and Tlingit clan leader.

Mallott's political career began at age 22 when he was elected Mayor of Yakutat in 1965.

Mallott served as Mayor of Juneau from 1994 to 1995 when he resigned, being succeeded by deputy mayor Dennis Egan, to become the executive director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation.
