Cachucha peppers

Cachucha peppers

Aji Cachucha is a small mild pepper used in many traditional Caribbean dishes. It is also sometimes known (especially in Puerto Rico) as an Ajicito. The pods ripen from a light pale green to a yellow/orange. The pepper may be confused with the similar looking habanero chili but is not as hot as the habanero.
