In January 2006, along with her business partner Weitzenhoffer, she was named was "the fifth most important person in British theatre" by The Stage.[1][2] In February 2007, she presented a Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, in London.[1]

On 23 April 2004, Nica Burns took part in a "debate" about "ticket prices in the West End" with other British theatre "industry insiders" Diane Borger and Caro Newling, chaired by David Benedict, which was recorded live and archived in two parts as an audio program by TheatreVoice.[3]
