The Fifth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization, also known as the WTO Fifth Ministerial Conference and abbreviated as MC5, was held at the Cancún Centro de Convenciones, Cancún, Mexico from September 10 to September 14, 2003.

The conference was aimed at forging agreement on the Doha Development Round. An alliance of 22 southern states, the G20 (led by India, China [ [http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=916768 Five Years of China WTO Membership. The talks broke down without progress.
