General William J. Fox Airfield (IATA: WJFICAO: KWJF), locally known as "Fox Field" is an airport located in Lancaster, California serving the Antelope Valley region of northern Los Angeles County. Although the airport is used primarily for general aviation, there are limited scheduled cargo operations, and the U.S. Forest Service maintains an airtanker base there, which becomes one of the principal hubs of firefighting efforts during fire season. An Antelope Valley Hospital helicopter is also based here.

Fox Field is also the home of the Milestones of Flight Aviation Museum.

On August 13, 2009, a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter, made a hard landing at the airfield during a training exercise.[1][2]
