William "Bill" Schnebel was a college football coach in the United States. He was named the 1960 "Little All-American Coach of the Year" and NAIA coach of the year [ [http://www.c-of-e.org/history.php College of Emporia Alumni Association, history] ]

Coaching History

College of Emporia

Schnebel's first head coaching job was at the College of Emporia in Emporia, Kansas. While head coach of the Fighting Presbies, he lead his teams to a combined record of 61 wins, 21 losses, and 1 tie. They were named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference champions three years ('59, '62, and '63), took second place in the conference twice ('56 and '61), and third place in his final 1964 season at the college.

Schnebel's team traveled to the Mineral Water Bowl in 1959 and defeated Austin College 21-20.

Northwest Oklahoma State University
