List of colleges and universities in Vermont

This is a list of colleges and universities in the U.S. state of Vermont. The largest such institution is the public University of Vermont. The five other public colleges in the state form the Vermont State Colleges system. There are also 16 private, degree-granting colleges, a law school, and a culinary school.

The oldest school in Vermont is Castleton State College, founded in 1787 during the days of the independent Vermont Republic. The newest is Landmark College, founded in 1984 to serve students with learning disabilities; it is also the most expensive college in the United States.
