Eddie Briggs

Eddie Briggs is a United States politician from Mississippi, best known for serving as a Lieutenant Governor of Mississippi from 1992 to 1996 under fellow Republican, Governor Kirk Fordice. Before that he served in Mississippi Senate.

Briggs run for second term as Lieutenant Governor in in 1995, but lost to Democrat and future Governor Ronnie Musgrove [ [http://www.leadercall.com/opinion/local_story_002095958.html Leader Call - Wicker could face old roommate Musgrove in Senate election ] ] .
