The Maltese people in Britain or simply, Maltese British are those that were born or raised in the United Kingdom who originate from the country of Malta. The 2001 UK Census recorded 30,178 Maltese-born people. Notable British people of Maltese descent include singer Sharleen Spiteri, model Suzanne Mizzi and the grandmother of Britney Spears.
