Devon . It serves the village ofFeniton but its original purpose was as the interchange with the branches toSidmouth and Exmouth "via"Budleigh Salterton . It closed along with the branches in 1967 but was reopened in 1971, as a result of local campaigning by the residents of the rapidly expanding village. The original station building was demolished shortly after the original closure, and was replaced by a modern prefabricated building. The platform is short and long trains overhang the platform andlevel crossing to the west of the station. Until the platform can be lengthened, selective door opening is used, where only the doors on the front unit will open.External links
