State Highway 75 is a road that travels through the Sawtooth Range of central Idaho from Shoshone to Challis.

Route description

State Highway 75 begins at a junction with U.S. Highway 93 on Greenwood Street in Shoshone. The highway heads northward and passes through the Blaine County communities of Bellevue, Hailey, and Ketchum. Sun Valley is accessible via a spur route junction in Ketchum. Entering Custer County, State Highway 75 runs northwards to Stanley and then veers east towards Challis. The road terminates and rejoins US 93 at Challis.

History

The road dates back to at least 1926 when it was designated U.S. Route 93 Alternate. It was given its current state highway designation in 1977. [ [U.S. Route 93 Alternate Idaho's US Highways] ]
