"Slow Motion" is a song by New Wave and synthpop band Ultravox, and the first single from the then-forthcoming "Systems of Romance" album, released on 4 August 1978.

"Slow Motion" was the material of a changing band. It was the first single featuring Robin Simon as guitarist (replacing Stevie Shears) and also the first under the new name "Ultravox", without the exclamation mark. New sounds were provided by synthesizers and electric drums, especially evident on the single's B-side, "Dislocation".

The song was performed live on "Old Grey Whistle Test" in early 1978, before the release of the single and the "Systems of Romance" album. It was featured in live concerts until the Vienna Tour in 1980, where Midge Ure sang lead vocals. It was resurrected in concert in the 1990s with Billy Currie the sole remaining Ultravox member, and also featured on John Foxx's solo tours.

"Dislocation", the B-side, is an industrial synthpop song that also appeared on "Systems of Romance" alongside "Slow Motion". The song was performed by the band until their first tour with Midge Ure in 1979. John Foxx began to play it live after returning to the popular music scene in 1997 with his collaborator Louis Gordon.
