"Art Style: ORBIENT" is a remake of the bit Generations title "Orbital". It was released in North America on September 29, 2008. [http://www.wiiware-world.com/news/2008/09/usa_wiiware_update_bomberman_blast_and_art_style_orbient USA WiiWare Update: Bomberman Blast And Art Style: ORBIENT] ] The game features 50 stages spread across 6 galaxies.

Gameplay

In "ORBIENT" players control a white star which they must grow larger by absorbing blue stars and collecting smaller gray stars to form orbiting satellites.

The player guides the star by pressing the A and B buttons on the Wii Remote, using gravity and anti-gravity to attract it towards or repel it against the gravitational wells of celestial objects and settling it into orbit around red giants until the star has grown large enough to match the size of a yellow target star, at which point the player must form a binary system with the target star to pass the stage. However, players must be careful not to crash their star into the red giants or floating asteroids, or be sucked into black holes, which takes away a life.

Reception

IGN, who gave "ORBIENT" an 8.5/10, praised the simplicity of the gameplay and the improvements made to the original, and called it "an incredibly mellow, relaxing experience", yet at the same time "one of the most challenging games you'll ever play".
