Chlamydephoridae is a family of air-breathing land slugs, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the clade Eupulmonata (according to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005).

These snails are presumed to be true carnivores. [1]

Taxonomy

The Chlamydephoridae family is classified within the informal group Sigmurethra, itself belonging to the clade Stylommatophora within the clade Eupulmonata (according to taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005).

The family Chlamydephoridae has no subfamilies.

This is a monogeneric family, in other words, there is only one genus in it: [2]
