Coleophora salviella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found on the Canary Islands (Tenerife, La Gomera, Fuerteventura) and in Algeria, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.^[2]

The larvae feed on Salvia aegyptiaca. They create an almost straight composite leaf case, composed of 2-3 leaf fragments. The case is two-valved, 11-14.5 mm long and has a mouth angle of 45-50°.^[3] Full-grown larvae can be found from April to May.
