Archibald Henry Grimké (August 17, 1849 – February 25, 1930) was an African American lawyer, intellectual, journalist, diplomat and community leader in the 19th century. He was a graduate of Lincoln University, class of 1870 and Harvard Law School, a co-founder of the NAACP and served as consul to the Dominican Republic from 1894-1898.

Grimké was born the eldest of three sons to Nancy Weston, an African American slave, her slave-owner, Henry Grimké, near Charleston, South Carolina. His two sisters, Sarah, and Angelina were collectively known as the Grimké sisters in abolitionist circles. His brother, Francis J. Grimké, a Presbyterian minister, and graduate of Lincoln University, PA in 1870, was married to abolitionist and diarist Charlotte Forten Grimké. His youngest brother was named John.

While practicing law in Boston, Massachusetts, he married a Sarah Stanley, a white woman, with whom he had one daughter Angelina Weld Grimke, a teacher and a writer. Grimké fell ill in 1928 and was cared for by his brother Francis in the District of Columbia unitil his death in 1930.
