Nakagusuku Bay (中城湾 Nakagusuku-wan?) is a bay off the southern coast of Okinawa Island in Japan, at 26°13′N 127°52′E / 26.217°N 127.867°E / 26.217; 127.867Coordinates: 26°13′N 127°52′E / 26.217°N 127.867°E / 26.217; 127.867.

American soldiers nicknamed the bay Buckner Bay, after General Simon Bolivar Buckner, Jr.[citation needed]

There is a free trade zone located here, of 122 hectares, which will be connected with Naha Airport and Naha Port by an under bay tunnel due to be complete in 2011.[1]
