Malaysia n football competitions to represent the state ofSelangor . The team is based in the City ofShah Alam . They are currently playing in the top division in Malaysian football, theMalaysian Super League . Their home stadium isShah Alam Stadium .With 30
Malaysia Cup s, 4 Division 1/Premier 1/Super League titles, 2 Division 2/Premier 2/Premier League titles, 4 FA Cups and 6 Charity Shields, Selangor is the most successful team in Malaysian football history. Due to their success, Selangor has the unique distinction of being both the most popular and the most loathed team in the country at the same time. Selangor's main rivals are always the teams who put up the strongest fight against their national dominance. For most of the 20th century, this was the Singapore team which competed in the Malaysia Cup and Malaysian league. More recently their main rivals have included Perak, Kedah and Pahang.Selangor played in the final match of 2008 Malaysia Cup on August 23rd at Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil, Malaysia against
Kedah FA which they have lost 3-2.On 27th September 2008,the team manager Zakaria Ab Rahim has set a vision for Selangor FA.The vision, which is the Vision 2015,set a goal for the team to be the best football team in Asia.Honours
