state highway in Paintsville,Kentucky . The western terminus of the route is atKentucky Route 321 Business . The eastern terminus is atKentucky Route 1428 .KY 2333 was formerly assigned to Cooper Drive in Lexington. The route stretched from US 27 (Nicholasville Road-South Limestone) in the west to KY 1974 (Tates Creek Road) in the east. The western third of the route, starting at US 27, passed through the southern part of the
University of Kentucky campus, near Commonwealth Stadium,Bluegrass Community and Technical College , and the headquarters ofKentucky Educational Television . It was five lanes from US 27 to University Drive, then narrowed to two lanes to KY 1974. It was widened from two to five lanes in 1989. Ownership transferred from theKentucky Transportation Cabinet to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government on May 8, 1989.See also
