Old Dominion University Fieldhouse

Old Dominion University Fieldhouse

Old Dominion University Fieldhouse was a 5,200 seat multi-purpose arena in Norfolk, Virginia. It opened in 1970. It was home to the Old Dominion University Monarchs and Lady Monarchs basketball teams.[citation needed] The venue also played host to the American Basketball Association's Virginia Squires for a short time.[citation needed] In 2006 Tim Nolan (USA) set a world record, juggling 11 balls at the Fieldhouse.[1]

The Fieldhouse is currently under major renovations to become a new athletics facility for the Old Dominion University Community. The new facility will include indoor tennis and swimming.[citation needed]
