Costock is a village and civil parish in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, although its closest town and postal address is Loughborough across the border in Leicestershire. It is situated next to the A60 (Nottingham-Loughborough) road. It has a Church of England primary school. St. Giles' Church, Costock built 1350 which stands somewhat back from the main street of the village.

Premiere Travel operate a service (No. X9) between Nottingham and Loughborough which passes through the village on the A60. East Midlands Airport is 10 miles away.
