Cristian Gustavo Leiva (born 26 September 1979 in Chilecito, La Rioja Province) is an Argentine football midfielder who plays for Godoy Cruz.

Club career

Leiva started his career at Club Atlético Banfield in the Primera Division Argentina in 2001. In 2002 he joined Cruz Azul in Mexico but he soon returned to Argentina to play for Gimnasia y Esgrima (LP). After only one season with Gimnasia he returned to Banfield.

In Banfield was a regular of the first team, and after some good performances in the Copa Libertadores 2005, in July 2006 Leiva was signed by Anderlecht.
