] is about 10 kilometers to the south of the starting terminus of Highway 313. Route 913 begins at an intersection with Highway 120 in the area of White Gull Lake. At .81 miles, Route 913 intersects with another unnamed road just outside of White Gull Lake. The unnamed road parallels Route 913 for some time before turning to the northeast. Route 913 passes to the west of White Gull Lake through the Cub Hills as it heads north. Several unnamed roads intersect Route 913 as it continues north towards Whelan Bay.

Route 913 comes and passes through Whelan Bay, turning to the northeast at 11.12 miles. Route 913 turns to the north again, passing White Swan Lake to the west. Route 913 turns to the east and intersects with Route 912 at 25.75 miles. The two roads become concurrent and head east towards Route 106 and Narrow Hills Provincial Park. 912 turns to the southeast at 30.50 miles. Route 913 continues east, passing through hills and coming to an end at Route 106 in Narrow Hills Provincial Park.

History

Major attractions

The area is entirely boreal forest sporting evergreens, poplar and birch along the route. The highway begins by circumventing the western perimeter of White Gull Lake and the Cub Hills, and then meanders around the south eastern coastline of Whiteswan Lakes. ] Sand Lake offers stocked Brook Trout on a small 4 hectare lake south of route 913. Gem Lakes area contains the small lakes of Diamond Lake, Jade lake, Opal Lake, Pearl Lake and Sapphire Lake which are clustered together north of route 013 within the perimeter of Narrow Hills Provincial Park. Summit Lake is also south of route 913 and is a larger 219 hectare lake. Traveling through this area watch for wild life such as moose, elk, deer, wolf or coyote. The Narrow Hills Provincial Park encompasses an area of 53,610 hectares (250 square miles), and is inclusive of the north western portion of route 913. Citation

Travel north on Saskatchewan Highway 912 provides access to Saskatchewan Highway 927 in 5.3 kilometers. Saskatchewan Highway 927 is the access route to the Clarence-Steepbank Hills Wilderness Provincial Park which is 6.1 kilometers north along route 927 from the intersection with route 912.

The Heritage Lake Recreation Site, Whiteswan Lake (Whelan Bay) Recreation Site, and Piprell Lake Recreation Site are accessible from the highway. Whiteswan Lake (Whelan Bay) Recreation Site is located in portions of Range 21 and 22, Township 58, West of the Second Meridian.
