Sarah Manners (born 25 August 1975) is an English actress best known for her work on British television. She was born in Birmingham and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Career

Manners appeared in numerous commercials and a series of short films before she got her big break in afternoon soap opera Doctors. Her best-known roles are as K.C. in the cult Sky One drama Mile High and Bex Reynolds in the long-running BBC One medical drama Casualty.

In 2004, Manners took part in the second series of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing opposite Brendan Cole, finishing in sixth place.

Her other work includes appearances in EastEnders, Nickelodeon's Renford Rejects, Mayo, Hollyoaks: Movin' On, The Afternoon Play, Beginners Luck, Combat Sheep, Sugar Sugar, Touch and Go, and All in the Game opposite Danny Dyer and Ray Winstone. She recently appeared in Moving Wallpaper playing herself, opposite Ben Miller She also played the part of Tracie Andrews in the ITV1 Real Crime drama "Blood on her hands".

Manners was voted one of FHM's Hot 100 Sexiest Women. Recently she has also been named one of the "Sexiest TV Babes" in Zoo magazine.

In 2010, Manners joined ITV1's The Bill, as PC Kirsty Knight.[1]

Personal life

Manners married her longtime boyfriend, computer salesman Ben O'Sullivan, in 2003. They divorced in 2009.[2]
