The Archdiocese of Huambo (Latin: Archidioecesis Huambensis) is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Huambo in Angola. The cathedral of the archdiocese is the Cathedral of the Conception of Our Lady in Huambo.

  • September 9, 1940: Established as Diocese of Nova Lisboa from Diocese of São Paulo de Loanda and Mission “sui iuris” of Cunene
  • February 3, 1977: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Huambo
