The Archdiocese of Huambo (Latin: Archidioecesis Huambensis) is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Huambo in Angola. The cathedral of the archdiocese is the Cathedral of the Conception of Our Lady in Huambo.
History
- September 9, 1940: Established as Diocese of Nova Lisboa from Diocese of São Paulo de Loanda and Mission “sui iuris” of Cunene
- February 3, 1977: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Huambo
