Bergljot Hobæk Haff

Bergljot Hobæk Haff (born May 1, 1925) is a Norwegian novel writer. She made her debut with the novel "Raset" in 1956.no icon [http://www.nrk.no/litteratur/forfattere/1581130.html "Haff, Bergljot Hobæk"] – "www.nrk.no" (Retrieved on February 21, 2008)] Her books are translated into languages as English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Lithuanian.

Awards

Bergljot Hobæk Haff was awarded the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature in 1962 for "Bålet" (Fire), and again in 1996 for "Skammen" (Shame). She received Doblougprisen in 1985, and the Norwegian Academy Prize in 1988.
