(1980)"Never Lose Your Sense of Humor" is a duet between
Paul Jabara andDonna Summer from Jabara's "The Third Album". It was released as a single in late 1979 to little success, perhaps partly down to the huge success of Summer's single that was out at the time ("No More Tears (Enough Is Enough) ", a duet withBarbra Streisand , which coincidentally was co-written by Jabara. The format tempo of the song follows the same one used for Summer's "Last Dance" release written by Jabara as well. The full title of thesong, "Foggy Day/Never Lose Your Sense of Humor", begins as a slow tempo song ("Foggy Day") and progresses into an up-tempo dance track. Thesong's title is also indicative of Jabara's personal views as he tried repeatedly to intersperse humor into many of his recording and theatricalideas. The song has been released on CD only once. It is on the CD, "Greatest Hits... and Misses " released in 1989. The song has been editedfor this greatest hits package from the original 1979 lp release (7:21 from the original 9:46).
