Darron Varnell Thomas (born May 23, 1990) is a college football quarterback for the Oregon Ducks football team.^[1] Thomas is the starting quarterback for the 2010 Ducks, being given the opportunity after former starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli was suspended for the 2010 season and eventually dismissed from the team. He then beat out senior teammate Nate Costa for the starting job.^[2] Thomas redshirted the 2009 season after appearing in 5 games for the Ducks in 2008 as a true freshman.
