Dongguan Rail Transit or Dongguan Metro is the metro system of the city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province of China. Dongguan Rail Transit's will be operate by the state-owned Dongguan Rail Transit Corporation, Limited. Line R2 first section's construction began in 2010 and it is expected to be open by 2015 with 15 stations.[1]

Line R1, the first section 15 station and 37.743km long, from Shilong (Dongguan Railway Station) to Humen Coach Terminal in Dongguan, expected be open for operation by 2015.
