It was released on CD & Digital Download formats. It is the first in the series where you don't need to buy the whole album to buy the iTunes bonus videos.

Now 71 features six songs that reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: "The Promise", "I Kissed a Girl", "So What", "Sex on Fire", "All Summer Long", and "Viva La Vida".
