The Denes High School is a High School located in the northern outskirts of Lowestoft, Suffolk, England.

Admissions
It has approximately 850 students aged 13 to 18 (years 9 to 13)[1]. It is also home to a sports training centre open to the public. The Head Teacher is Mick Lincoln[1].
It is situated on Yarmouth Road (A12).
History
The school was known as Lowestoft County Grammar School, and previous to that, Lowestoft Secondary School. It went comprehensive in 1971.
Specialist school
In September 2004 the school was designated by the Department for Education and Skills as a specialist school as a Business and Enterprise College.[2]
Lowestoft 6th Form
The Denes is one third of the Lowestoft sixth form consortium, the other two member schools are Benjamin Britten High School & Kirkley Community High School. However this will change with the completion of the Lowestoft Sixth Form College in September 2011.
