The New Democratic Party (in Albanian: Partia Demokrate e Re) was a Centre-right, Conservative, political party in Albania. It was led by Genc Pollo.[1]

PDR has been part of the coalition Alliance for Freedom, Justice and Welfare (Aleanca për Liri, Drejtësi dhe Mirëqenie). In the parliamentary elections of 2005 PDR won four seats on the proportional list.

It has been an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). October 2008 Genc Pollo and Sali Berisha, Prime Minister and head of the Democratic Party, the senior party in the Govt. coalition, announced their parties will merge. The NDP separated from the DP in 1999 and they were reunited again in 2009.
